About us
DoctorsVote is a grassroots organisation committed to advocating for the full pay restoration of UK doctors, aiming to bring their salaries back to 2008 levels. Recognising the significant decline in real wages over the years, the organisation seeks to address the financial challenges faced by doctors, which have impacted their well-being and morale. By uniting healthcare professionals, DoctorsVote works to ensure that doctors' voices are central in discussions about fair compensation and working conditions within the NHS.
In addition to its efforts on pay restoration, DoctorsVote has also been a strong advocate for the protection and restoration of the medical profession. The organisation has introduced initiatives aimed at limiting scope creep from Medical Associate Professionals (MAPs). These initiatives are designed to preserve the integrity and standards of the medical profession by ensuring that the roles and responsibilities of doctors are not diluted or undermined. Through these efforts, DoctorsVote strives to maintain the high standards of patient care and protect the future of the medical profession in the UK.
